About image
AGON was developed in 2020 by Joshua Englehart (pictured with wife Julaine).

The objective of AGON is to enhance and strengthen the relationship between tenant and property owner and also take the strain of managing numerous properties off of the property manager, which leads to better kept properties and happier and more reliable tenants.

It is no secret that there is a housing issue and even a disconnect between property owner and tenant these days. This "disconnect" can lead to a lot of broken and weak rental agreements which leads to run down housing and people getting evicted.

Joshua and his wife Julaine are very familiar with housing issues in their small community and the nation as a whole. They put focus on the interpersonal and relationship side of things along with the business side.

Joshua is a Spring Arbor University graduate with a BS in Organizational Management (he also has an associate degree in Human Services).

He is very familiar with local, state and even federal resources to help assist not only the property owner but also the tenant. Education is vital to any strong relationship. He is also trained in basic crisis response team training through NOVA. Joshua owned a small personal training business for about 10 years before becoming a victim specialist for his county. He serves as the lead pastor for a small ministry in Coldwater, Michigan called Agape Center Ministries. He is a husband and father of 6 children, ranging from the ages of 4 to 21 years old.

Crisis response and intervention is also a very important dynamic to Joshua. With so much going on in the world today, Joshua knows the importance of giving people a healthy platform to express and speak out their experiences and even frustrations.

Joshua is a devoted and passionate follower of Jesus Christ. Anything and everything he does is based in and around his faith. He is not a "Bible thumper", but he does not shy away from showing you something different when it comes to his daily walk and function. His focus is Christian integrity, which means that he is the same God-fearing man in every role of his life. Who you see on Sunday mornings is the same guy you get on Monday mornings or Friday nights.

Utilizing his diverse experiences in life and work, along with his higher education, Joshua Englehart is confident in his approach to dealing with managing property with a more personal and effective approach.

"Many people have gotten involved in the real estate/rental arena. I believe that there are valuable components left on the table in the rental experience that when tapped into, could not only strengthen and ensure professional rental agreements, but improve drastically the condition of many properties in communities. Reliable and happy tenants are interchangeable characteristics that lead to nicer and better kept properties.

AGON is all about taking property management to a more personal level. That bridge between property owner and tenant is something that has never been approached on a personal level. This disconnect develops by lack of proper screening and a property owner having too many properties to manage on their own. This disconnect leads to tenants who do not honor a rental agreement or folks are evicted too quickly, leading to dilapidated properties and lots of money being spent by property owners. .

Both parties need to be heard so both parties can be understood"
